Nick Ashron Biography

Nick Ashron is a Visionary Artist, Musician and Author, who has gained recognition in the alternative and Spiritual arena having featured in holistic publications such as Vision Magazine and Kindred Spirit, television shows including BBC's Heaven & Earth, and regularly attended UK Mind Body Spirit Events.

After leaving art college in Sussex in 1969, Nick decided to set-up his own 'Portrait' business working mainly in holiday camps including Butlins and Pontins, where he was also often invited to perform some of his songs on acoustic guitar. Nick began to develop an interest and involvement in holistic healing and spiritual development and has been creating inspirational and healing music since 1979 when he recognised the potency of sound as a medium to channel healing energy. Originally performing with his band Pegasus - one of the first 'New Age' progressive rock bands - he went on to record several instrumental albums under his Wandering Minstrel Music label, and in 1995 formed Elfin Spiral as a collective of guest artists for creating uplifting alternative dance based music. Nick says "The intent of my music is to take the listener on a journey of healing and transformation to a higher state of being".

Nick’s first career as a Portrait Artist also eventually led him to become a Psychic Artist and he has been drawing Spirit Guide Portraits professionally since 1995. Nick is delighted to have been voted 'Most Popular Psychic Artist' in the Spiritual ConneXtions Welsh Regional Awards 2008 and to now also be nominated in 3 categories in their UK National Acknowledgement Awards for his Psychic Art, Healing Music and Personal Website.
